PAYMENT CONDITIONS
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour price is payable within 3 days of our confirmation of the reservation.
- The balance owing on the invoice must be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which the total price has not been paid by due date, in which event the deposit will be forfeited to the company.
- The Company guarantees the price of land arrangements once full payment is received, except where subsequent increases are beyond the control of the company.
- When a reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to departure, the full amount payable must be paid within 48 hours of confirmation of your booking.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
- Acceptable forms of payment is either by cash, bank transfer or credit card.
CANCELLATIONS & CURTAILMENT
- In the event of the passenger or group cancelling their Tour for any reason, such cancellation must be made in writing, per facsimile or e-mail.
- Cancellation will only be recognised when a confirmation is transmitted to the passenger or group, by the company. In such instances, cancellation charges will be levied in accordance with the maximum charges which can be imposed.
- From time of booking up to 8 weeks prior to departure, the deposit is forfeited as follows:
- 8 Weeks prior: 50% of total tour price
- 6 Weeks prior: 75% of total tour price
- 4 Weeks prior: 100% of total tour price
REFUNDS & UNUSED SERVICES
- No refunds will be made for no-shows, or any unused services irrespective of whether they form part of the basic inclusive tour price, or whether they are in respect of pre-booked optional arrangements.
DELAYS
- The company does not hold itself responsible, nor can it be held responsible, for any delays prior to departure, or during the course of any tour. Whether these are brought about by technical difficulties, strikes, weather conditions or any other circumstances whatsoever, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
- It is understood that any expenses relating to these unscheduled extensions (e.g. Hotels, meals, airfares, telephone calls, etc) will be for the passengers own account.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
- All passengers will be personally responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of the correct documentation prior to their departure.
- The responsibility to obtain correct, current and valid passports, visas, vaccinations, inoculations and re-entry permits where required, is that of the passenger alone.
- The company will not be held responsible or liable for any consequence of any nature arising from the customer failing to ensure that he/she has complied with all such requirements.
LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Baggage on our safaris will be restricted to one large bag, weighing a maximum of 15 kgs. Also allowed will be a smaller hand luggage bag or camera bag per person.
ITINERARY ALTERATIONS
- The company reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure, in which event the entire tour price paid by the passenger will be refunded without prejudice and any further obligation on the part of the company.
- While every effort is made to keep to the itinerary, the company reserves the right to make any changes for your convenience.
- Should advertised accommodation, for whatever reason, not be available, then same or higher standard of accommodation will be utilized.
- The duration of the tour may have to be extended or curtailed owing to unforeseen circumstances and changes in transport schedules. Any resultant expense will be borne by the passenger, and any saving refunded.
INSURANCE
- Travel insurance for any of our safari's is compulsory, and it is the clients responsibility to arrange comprehensive personal and medical insurance in their country of origin.
- We strongly advise passengers to take out insurance against cancellation, curtailments, illness, loss of baggage and default at the time of booking.
LIABILITIES
- The company makes every effort to ensure that all arrangements and services connected with your tour will be carried out as specified in the most efficient and effective way possible.
- However, we do not have direct control over the provision of services by suppliers and whilst they are selected with the utmost care, we do not accept liability for error and omissions of such suppliers.
- The company does not accept any liability for changes, omissions or delays before or during the course of any published tour occasioned by technical difficulties, weather conditions, strikes or communication breakdowns.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
- Special requests must be made at time of booking.
- Every effort will be made to comply, however we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.
