This is South Africa’s largest Eco-tourism attraction and
more than 750,000 people visit the park per year. It was established in 1898
and is home to the big five as well as more than 140 other mammal species, 450
bird species, 114 species of reptile and 33 species of amphibian.
The park offers a wide range of accommodation from
rudimentary to luxurious chalets and accommodates more than 6000 people .The
fences between the Kruger National Park and privately owned Game reserves were
removed and the area is now managed as a single entity. This has allowed the
migration of wildlife and has improved the overall grazing in the area.
